I'm Thomas Epling, the owner and builder at Stellar Werks.
My journey into bicycle framebuilding began in 2016 when I studied with Koichi Yamaguchi at the Yamaguchi Framebuilding school in his workshop in Colorado.
Overtime I slowly built up my tooling and skills, building more bikes, forks, stems, and tools. During that time I also worked as a bicycle mechanic in order to better understand how bicycle components function and how they interact with a bike frame.
Now I am ready to build you a bicycle that's tailored to your body and riding needs!
The Process
Drop me a line via our Contact Form detailing what you'd like to make. Once I receive your message I will reach out to schedule a meeting to dial in your dream build.
Once we've discussed your build, I will send over a quote for your review to confirm the details. If everything looks good, you can make the necessary deposit and the build will be scheduled!
I will update you with the blueprint of your build and pictures as it's coming along. Once your new bike/fork/stem is complete, I will send a final invoice for the remaining balance. Once the final payment is received, your new Stellar Werks goods will be on there way!
